Brian is a remarkably talented writing tutor! My high school daughter, Julia, struggled to organize her thoughts into a cohesive and well-structured writing assignment. After a single tutoring session, Brian was able to determine the precise steps in the writing process that were causing her angst. Over the course of a few months, he reinforced the writing process and helped Julia to break assignments into more manageable parts. He emphasized critical elements of a paragraph to ensure evidence was provided to develop ideas in support of the theme being addressed. Brian kept copious notes of each session and recognized whether key concepts were fully understood. He assigned relevant homework to reinforce new concepts. The feedback provided from each session was candid, detailed and timely. Julia’s writing improved tremendously—we are grateful to Brian and highly recommend him!
